Daily Devotional - August 6th

Daily Read - Ezra 3:1-4:23; 1 Corinthians 2:6-3:4; Psalm 28:1-9; Proverbs 20:24-25
Do not attempt to interpret My ways through the avenue of your intellect because I cannot be contained in the confines of your natural mind. Your spirit man can only receive those things revealed by My Spirit; otherwise, they are dismissed as foolish and ridiculous. Logic and reason will not be able to explain what I prepare to do in and through My body. Those living from their unsanctified soul will miss some of My most tremendous exploits because they will reason them away. Only those who come to Me in childlike faith will receive My Kingdom as it comes.
My ways are not man's ways and when I show up, I knock conventional wisdom on its head. Does it make logical sense for the sun and moon to stand still as it did when Joshua spoke to them to do so? Was it possible for Peter to walk on the sea? Is it abnormal for a man having been dead four days to walk out of a tomb? These things make no sense if perceived through the intellect of the mind, but they must be discerned and received by the spirit.
It is beginning to rain and as it does unusual signs and wonders will pour from the windows of heaven manifesting during worship gatherings and prayer vigils. You will see supernatural multiplication of provision including finances. Even birth defects that have tormented precious people for years will suddenly disappear before your eyes. Mental illness will vanish into thin air setting the captives free. Miracles never seen on earth will shower down over people groups from every nation, tongue, and tribe.
When I manifest do not close your heart to Me because I come in ways that challenge your soulish mind. I will come and manifest My presence as I want, not as you want or in ways that fit into your comfort zone. My thoughts and ways are not yours; in fact, My ways challenge your ways.
It is time for a paradigm shift in the way you process My ways. Allow your spirit man to take control of your thinking process and tell your intellect to submit to the ways of Holy Spirit. I gave you intellect as a gift, but it only benefits you when presented to me as a living sacrifice.
