Romans 15:1
We who are strong [in our convictions and of robust faith]
ought to bear with the failings and the frailties and the tender scruples of the weak;
[we ought to help carry the doubts and qualms of others] and not to please ourselves.
Amplified Bible
The Christian walk is not easy and can sometimes be downright difficult, especially when it comes to our relationships with others within and outside the body of Christ. God always puts people in our life He knows will cause us to grow in mercy and grace; they are His grace growers.
The Lord requires those who are mature in the Kingdom to come alongside and speak into the lives of those who are young in the faith or even questioning their walk with Christ. It is easy to become irritated and even judgmental toward those who are not as strong in their faith, but it is vitally important for the body to help one another in all phases of spiritual maturity.
Now, more than ever, believers need one another's loving input and support. This is not the time to cast stones of accusation causing more strife and division, but a time to lay down differences and lift up each other's arms. There are too many believers abandoning their Christian walk because they lack godly, loving discipleship from those stronger in the faith.
Holy Spirit puts out a challenge to each of us today; will we listen and obey or ignore Him. Every day, there are those who cross our path who need love and encouragement whether they know Christ or not, they need to feel His touch. If you will lay aside selfish desires and surrender to the leading of Holy Spirit, He will guide you to the one or ones you are to encourage today. He will show you exactly what to say and do for each divine appointment. Not only will they be miraculously touched and encouraged by God, but because of your obedience, you will enjoy His miraculous touch as well.
Look out.....your divine appointment is coming!
