Daily Devotional - June 12th

Jun 12, 2025 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Daily Read - 1 Kings 9:1-10:29; Acts 8:14-40; Psalm 130:1-8; Proverbs 17:2-3

Allow this Psalm to carry you into a deeper understanding of the Lord's mercy and forgiveness. What a precious and beautiful Lord we serve. He continually reaches out to us drenching us with His extravagant love.

He is the answer to all of our pondering questions and brings the hope we so desperately need. As you pray, "Lord, hear my voice," He does, even before you pray. He hears you because He listens to your heart. Our souls (mind, will, and emotions) long for the Lord. Our hearts cry out and watch for His intervention in our lives and He always comes to our rescue.

Regardless of past mistakes, redemption's song washes over us bringing us into new mornings of His mercy. Grace kisses our cheek encouraging us to move on into the new day of promise.

Everything looks so different through the lens of His forgiveness. Pictures once distorted and tossed aside suddenly come into the focus of His acceptance.

Out of the depths, I have cried to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! You then quickly respond,
"I hear you ...I always hear you
....I will always hear the voice of My beloved!"

Psalm 130
Out of the depths, I have cried to You, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice!
Let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications.
If You, Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
But there is forgiveness with You,
That You may be feared.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope.
My soul waits for the Lord
More than those who watch for the morning -
Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the Lord;
For with the Lord there is mercy,
And with Him is abundant redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel
From all his iniquities.
