Psalm 119:130
The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple.
There are areas in every believer's life that seem to hide in dark, secret places. Those parts of the heart we want no one to see or places so painful, we can't bear to look at them ourselves. The enemy loves keeping those areas in the dark because he knows the light will expose him and his strategies will be dismantled.
From the time of conception, the adversary strategizes ways in which to encase the heart of man in the darkness of trauma. He knows darkness suffocates and provides a breeding ground for death and destruction, so he plans and plots ways to break and wound the heart. Once broken, the enemy cloaks the heart in a thick veil of dark trauma, knowing it will never be able to receive truth and freedom in this state. Our God is awesome and the entrance of His words brings light into all of those dark places of the soul.
The Lord's light breaks into those areas like the dawn breaking in on the dark of night. Trauma flees in His presence enabling the heart to hear and receive His truth in areas where lies kept it bound. He brings understanding and revelation to those simple and even foolish places causing each to surrender to His reign and Lordship.
Jesus is the light of the world and all evil melts in the presence of His radiance. The natural eye cannot see the brilliance of His light, it can only be viewed through the eyes of the Spirit, and even then, it overwhelms.
Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105
