Daily Read - 2 Samuel 2:12-3:39; John 13:1-30; Psalm 119:1-16; Proverbs 15:29-30

Proverbs 15:29
The Lord is far from the wicked,
But He hears the prayer of the righteous.

Psalm 119:11
Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.

Lord, Your Word says in Proverbs 15:29, You hear the prayer of the righteous. I come into Your presence according to Your promise that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I come knowing You hear my prayers and petitions. I come knowing I am accepted in Your loving arms of grace.

I treasure Your Word Lord God. It is My constant friend and confidante guiding me into the truth for my day. I glean the wealth found within each page and tuck every nugget within the inner places of my heart. Your Word brings life and healing to those secret places, even to those I am unaware.

Your Word is alive and when placed within the ground of My heart begins to grow and produce bountiful fruit. Even those areas locked down and held captive in the depths of pain experience Your resurrection and as a result, sin loses its debilitating hold on my life.

I feast on Your Word; I can't get enough of it for I know it is everything I need when I need it. It is my anchor assuring me that no matter what rocks my world, I remain sure and steady on its truth and promises.

Holy Spirit I ask You to remind me to continue planting the Word in My heart because I know everything I plant today will reap a harvest in my life tomorrow. I also know that every time I hide Your Word and write it on the tablets of my heart, the enemy can't find it; therefore, he can't steal it away! It belongs to me, forever mine!  Amen.
