The mercies of the Lord are new every morning. Each day, His goodness greets us with kisses from the sun. Whether it is a sunny or cloudy day, His mercy always brings the light to chase away the darkness of the night. The enemy may surround us on every side, but our God is awesome and saves us with His mighty right hand. He lifts us up and into victory while destroying our enemy.  His light breaks in and dispels every bit of murkiness within our life.
 
Our God sets a table for us in the presence of our enemies and makes them watch as He validates and blesses us before all heaven and earth. His goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives. Regardless how you feel in this moment and despite the lies the enemy speaks about your past; the eternal fact is, His goodness and mercy follows you all the days of your life!
 
Shake off the dust from yesterday with all its disappointments and failures and walk into the mercy of this new day! Yesterday is gone and forgotten by God, now it is time for you to forget as well.
 
The Lord is for you! Think about it...the God of the universe is on your side. Now, who do you suppose comes out the winner, you or the enemy?
 
If you have a hard time answering that question, prayerfully read the following verses and find His truth for your day. It is very difficult to remain depressed or in fear when you allow His Word to penetrate your soul.
