1 Corinthians 3:10-12
According to the grace of God which was given to me,
as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation,
and another builds on it.
But let each one take heed how he builds on it.
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid,
which is Jesus Christ.
There is no other foundation except Christ on which to stand in this season. The winds of change blow across the land and storms are brewing on the horizon. Only those who have built upon the Rock of their salvation will be able to withstand what is to come.
You may know Christ as your Savior, but there may be areas in your life where
you are still Lord. These places hide deep within the recesses of your heart buried under years of dirt and debris. Christ knows exactly where they lodge and He is the expert at finding them through His precision excavation. Though appearing solid, these foundations contain numerous fractures incurred throughout years of hurt and wounds weakening their ability to support anything. These are the places in the heart where we have yet to surrender to Christ. Without Jesus as the Lord or foundation in these areas, anything built upon them will crumble in the coming storm.
The Master Builder delicately weaves through broken pieces of your heart, digging through the rubbish of lies the enemy sowed. His dunamus (dynamite) power explodes into enemy strongholds causing inroads for His revelation and truth to break in paving the way for healing. Soon He restores these once weak and fragile foundations into strong, powerful buildings.
Ask Holy Spirit to reveal all areas in your heart built on something other than Christ. You may discover religious mindsets that need to come down or traditions of man void of God's power. Perhaps, you hold on to past failures that keep you from pressing into your destiny. Tear down those old foundations and allow the Master Builder to come in and pour a new one.
With Christ as Lord over every area of your life, there is nothing the enemy can do to destroy what has been built.
With Christ as your foundation....
You are solid as a rock!
