Proverbs 20:22
Do not say, I will repay evil; wait [expectantly] for the Lord,
and He will rescue you.
Amplified Bible

There is no greater joy than to rest and watch our God fight on our behalf. Obviously, He is much smarter than we are and sees the entire picture of every situation; therefore, He knows exactly what to do and the timing to render vengeance on the enemy. As believers, we must remind ourselves the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness. Our tendency is to look at people as our enemy, when in fact, they only provide camouflage to the actual source of the attack.

If we make the mistake of taking matters into our own hands rendering judgment against that which we see, the situation grows worse. Using natural methods to fight spiritual battles always ends in defeat and only strengthens the enemy's position.

However, when we turn to God and surrender all injustice, pain, slander, and every evil work of darkness, He turns the tables on hell and delivers us into victory. When we truly surrender these issues to Father God, we must then wait in His presence trusting His wisdom and sovereignty on our behalf. So many times a battle is lost because of mistrust and impatience during the process. If we don't see immediate results we tend to grow anxious and fearful. This usually leads us to make decisions from the soul rather than from our spirit.

Regardless what strategies the enemy plots against you today, know our heavenly Father is omnipotent (all-powerful) and comes to the rescue. There is no situation facing you that God hasn't already made the way of escape. The quicker we learn to release and trust the quicker we enter into the peace and rest of God. It is from this place we can stand confident and assured that....

Help is on the way!
