Jul 31, 2024 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Daily Read - 2 Chronicles 29:1-36; Romans 14:1-23; Psalm 24:1-10; Proverbs 20:12

Psalm 24 powerfully describes the blessings that follow those who seek after the face of the Lord. There is nothing more desirable to a believer than to ascend into the hill of the Lord and stand in His holy place. Through the extravagant love of Christ and His cleansing, redeeming blood, this is possible.  As believers, God gives us the glorious opportunity to access His throne where we can lavish Him in our abandoned worship of love. What a magnificent blessing He gives His children who seek His beautiful face.

Let us lift up our heads and look for the King of Glory to come into our day. He is strong and mighty in battle. He is the Lord of all the hosts of heaven. He holds us up by His mighty right arm and fights our battles. We are well protected because the enemy must pass through His almightiness to get to us.

If the enemy has you running in fear, read psalms 24 and you will send him running.
If you feel discouraged and without hope, sing psalms 24 and you will receive a song of thanksgiving.
If your mind continues to scream with doubt and unbelief, shout psalms 24 back and watch it submit to the fruit of shalom peace.

Use Psalms 24 as your weapon of war today!

Psalm 24
1 The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
2 For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters.
3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face. Selah
7 Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.
