Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God,
which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Dear Lord Jesus, it is Your abounding mercy and grace that leads us to the altar, and it is Your amazing love that beckons us to carry the cross daily. You know exactly what we need to live an abundant and victorious Christian life because You walked as God clothed in flesh among us.
Lord God, as an act of my will, I present myself on the altar of Your holiness. I submit my spirit, soul, and body to You as a living sacrifice. I speak to my mind, will, and emotions and command them to completely surrender to Your will and purpose. They are no longer enslaved to sin, but free to live in righteousness.
In this place of total relinquishment, You call me holy and acceptable. In this very moment, I transition from a place of soul-control into a place of freedom in the spirit. My senses, imagination, and all parts of my being come into the obedience of Christ and become a symphony of worship. Surrender is one of the greatest forms of worship we can offer You as Your children.
Precious Lord, I ask for Your wisdom to keep me in this place of the Spirit. I ask You to guide and direct My steps and protect them from walking in the ways of the world. I pray I would discern and recognize worldly entrapments that would lure me into compromise. I purpose my heart to turn from them before falling into the entanglements of their evil web.
I speak to my brain and command all thoughts contrary to Your Word to submit to truth. I command all evil and unholy patterns of thought engraved in my brain to be uprooted and annihilated by the power of the blood. Father, I ask You to engrave new pathways of thought that lead me to think in accordance with Your Word and what You say about me and who I am as Your child.
Lord Jesus, I renew my mind with the truth and revelation of Your Word. As I bring myself to the altar of Your grace, I can clearly see, hear, and receive Your truth and perceive what Your good, acceptable, and perfect will is for my life.
Here I am Lord, I am totally and completely Yours!
