Acts 12:11
And when Peter had come to himself, he said,
"Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel,
and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people."
When prison doors seem locked and sealed shut, I Am the one who comes to open them. When the enemy goes to great lengths to ensure his plans against you prosper, I Am the one who turns those plans into nothing. When wickedness laughs at your persecution, I Am the one who makes a show of evil openly triumphing over it!
Nothing the enemy throws against you can stop My plans from prospering in your life. As you delight in My ways and walk consecrated, your destiny remains sealed in My sovereignty.
Herod used everything in the natural realm to ensure Peter's demise; however, he could not stop a supernatural God. I usurp and override the natural realm because I Am its creator and all things are subject to My will. In the midst of a heavily guarded fortress, heaven came in and interrupted Satan's war plans. Peter walked out from an impossible situation into his freedom without the enemy even knowing what hit him. He could have looked at the circumstances and succumbed to fear and anxiety, but He chose instead to keep his eyes on Me and enter rest. He literally fell asleep in the middle of the enemy's camp knowing I would take care of him.
You may find yourself in the middle of a seemingly impossible situation, one that screams out continually with mocking threats. Hold on and do not give up. Keep your eyes focused on Me and watch heaven come and walk you into victory.
Heavenly Father, I desire to reach the point of absolute faith and trust in You. I want to come to the place where I live, move, and have my being from a place of faith, knowing You have me and will never let me go. Father, I want to live such an abandoned life that regardless of the circumstances surrounding me, I will rest in Your faithful arms. I ask for a new expectancy to birth and arise within me, one that looks for and anticipates Your interventions in my life. In Jesus name, Amen!
