Psalm 127:1-2
Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
Commit all your ways to Me and allow My rule and reign over the affairs of your life. Stop doing things that originate from the flesh because it produces nothing eternal. In fact, these things only lead to fret, worry, and anxiety because they are done by your hand and not Mine.
Surrender is a beautiful gift. Cast your cares and concerns upon Me and I will not only take them but will give you shalom rest in return. Allow Your Father to remove the heavy burden the enemy so cunningly yoked around your neck. You are created to walk free and unencumbered by such bondage. You are a free spirit able to soar into spiritual heights, but there are tethers holding you earthbound.
These shackles of worry and fret bombard your dreams with tormenting thoughts leading to sleepless nights. I give restful sleep to My children, but the enemy comes to steal it away. Fear opens the door for him to gain entrance to rob from your God given inheritance of rest. Close that door of access and all others to the thief. The quickest way to seal off those entrances is to commit all to Me. Surrender everything into My capable hands and enter shalom rest.
Worry accomplishes absolutely nothing except destruction. I Am your resting place. Allow Me the opportunity to prove I can take care of you. I make provision for your every need and protect you against the plots of the enemy. I know things you don't know and I see things you can't possibly see.
I will sing you to sleep while I rock you in My everlasting arms. Everything is fine, I have you, and I will never let you go.
Come unto Me all who are weary and heavy laden....
I will give you rest!
Lord, I release worry and anxiety to You. I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I rest in the fact You are my loving heavenly Father and know all things about my future. I cast off every burden that yokes itself around my neck. I give every one of them to You. I refuse to be unequally yoked with anything from the enemy. You created me to live free and the one the Son sets free is free indeed. I walk in Your freedom and cut all tethers that hinder my walk. I receive Your gift of rest and expect to receive heaven sent dreams filled with revelation of my future. I abandon all to You, my awesome Father! Amen.
