Proverbs 13:18
Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction,
But he who regards a rebuke will be honored.

Do you not yet know I correct those whom I love? A loving Father would never allow his children to continue doing something He knows would bring them harm. I know your future and everything in it. There are things approaching that could cause shipwreck in your life, but I have the wisdom to help you avoid the crash. If you will listen and obey my instructions, you will prosper.

When I bring correction, recognize it for what it is...love and mercy extended. Correction is in no way punishment, so dismiss that from your mind and give it no place in your thinking.  The enemy distorts correction in the minds of My people turning it into something abusive and controlling. Instead, it is one of the most beautiful demonstrations of My love and commitment to you as My child.

Too many in My church do not fully comprehend My character and nature. I love you and would do absolutely nothing to harm or embarrass you. I have your best interests at heart and My motivation is always to bring you into the fullness of your destiny.

In the spirit realm, when you turn your back on correction you are turning your back on and rejecting My wisdom. I am your Father and have great things to reveal, but if you refuse to receive My admonition, how can I possibly entrust you with My revelation. Great rewards and blessings await those who receive Godly correction. Promotion comes to those who submit themselves to My loving guidance in their lives.

I honor those who honor and respect Me!

Father, I repent for my "know it all" attitude. There is only One who knows it all and that is You. I desire to walk victoriously in this life and I know that is achieved when I submit to Your correction and guidance. You are the kindest and most generous person I have ever met and Your intentions for me are only for my good. Father, I trust You and fall into Your arms of grace. Your counsel is wisdom and I need all the wisdom I can get!  Even if I don't understand Your correction, I trust You and submit to Your Father's love for me. I desire to walk in the fullness of who I am and the only way that is possible is to submit to the fullness of who You are in my life. Amen!
