Proverbs 12:25
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad.

Fear is a powerful weapon in the arsenal of hell. It manifests in many different and varying forms all with the intention of covertly paralyzing the believer from active duty in My army. The enemy thrives on terrorizing My children, all the while knowing fear is only an allusion made up of smoke and mirrors. It is a total distortion of truth and the only power the enemy has comes from your belief in these lies and distortions.

When you agree with these lies, fear begins creeping into fractured areas of your soul that have been traumatized by past evil assaults. Depression is the resulting fruit bringing despair and hopelessness as sidekicks.  Before you know it, evil wraps these parts of your heart in a cloak of darkness locking them up in a prison of lies. These areas can no longer hear the truth because all they see and hear are lies.

I am well acquainted with these areas of your heart and My truth unlocks their prison doors. The washing of My Word cleanses every part, removing the grave clothes of lies and trauma from off of them. My Word of truth saturates each fractured place bringing healing and restoration.

My precious child, let Me lift you from a place of depression into the heights of My glory where you belong. Surrender these areas of your heart to Me and allow Me the pleasure of wiping out trauma in your life. I only wait for your permission and surrender. Remember, I cannot usurp your will, I gave it to you as a gift, so use it wisely.

I speak good things to you continuously, but parts of your heart remain locked down deafened to My voice. Let Me come and heal your broken places, so you can enjoy the gladness and fullness of joy you rightfully deserve as My child.

Lord Jesus, You came to heal the broken hearted and to set at liberty those held captive.  You came to open the prison doors. As an act of my will, I choose to surrender all areas of my heart into Your sovereign hands. I refuse to agree with the lies of the enemy. I shut the door to his schemes and strategies to pull my soul into fear and depression. I choose to agree with what Your Word says about me and reject the lies of the enemy. Wash over Me Lord. I invite You to come and open all doors to those parts imprisoned inside my soul. As an act of my will, I submit myself spirit, soul, and body to Your sovereign and glorious work of healing. Amen!
