Daily Devotional - April 6th

Daily Read “ Deuteronomy 29:1-30:20; Luke 11:37-12:7; Psalm 78:1-31; Proverbs 12:19-20
Luke 12:6-7
"Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins?
And not one of them is forgotten before God.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."
There are moments when I hear your heart questioning My love for you. I see the pain in the expression on your face as you wonder if I even care. I feel the pain of disappointment and discouragement trying to suffocate your faith and belief in who I really am in your life. The enemy uses the temporal things in this world to lure you into places of despair, enticing you to give up on My love. He maneuvers his way into your thoughts trying to exalt his ways above the knowledge of My Word.
Cast down everything that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of who I am. All things that contradict My love and faithfulness are lies and need to be captured and destroyed. These things are deadly poisons and if you meditate upon them, they bring devastation and destruction.
My eye is on the sparrow and I know every detail of its daily life on earth. I see when one falls to the ground in death and I know when one breaks through its shell finding new life. In fact, I know all things about everything because I created everything and that includes you.
How much more important and valuable are you my precious one? I created you in My likeness and image and you carry My divine nature within. If you were the only human being on earth, My Son would have given His life for your ransom. My Word declares My love, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have eternal life." Our relationship is reconciled because of the shed blood of My Son. There's no greater love than for a man to lay down his life for another. My Son not only gave His life for you bringing forgiveness and redemption, but also gives you the privilege to be called a son of the Almighty through the atonement of His shed blood.
I know life is full of trials and tribulations, but I carry you through each and every one of them. Don't allow yourself to entertain fear for My perfect love casts it out! I'm intimately acquainted with all your ways, even knowing the exact number of hairs on your head. Do you honestly believe the one who created you has the desire and ability to walk you through anything life brings your way?
Father God, You know the thoughts of my heart, even those hidden from my conscience view. Search my heart and remove all places that house doubt and question Your love. I repent and ask for Your deliverance. I know You love me, but there are times when life's pressures taint my perception of Your love. Help me quickly recognize when my thoughts swerve off course and head toward a ditch. I choose to pull them back onto the road that leads me to the truth of who You are in my life! Amen!
