Daily Read “ Numbers 11:24-13:33; Mark 14:22-52; Psalm 52:1-9; Proverbs 11:1-3
Father God, I come to You in the majestic and all-powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
Thank You for being my trustworthy and faithful Father. As the sun rises welcoming a new day, I awaken to the revelation that Your mercies are new for me this very morning. You faithfully send the dew to water the earth bringing life and refreshment to all living things. In kind, Your daily mercies water My dry and thirsty soul. I praise You for the extravagant grace You shower on me. It reaches down into the roots and depths of my identity strengthening and empowering who you created me to be as your child.
Your mercies feed and nourish me causing me to grow and flourish like a green olive tree in Your house. Even as I walk through fiery trials and circumstances, my leaves do not wither because my roots are feeding on Your goodness and grace. You are an awesome Father!
When I'm pressed on every side and I feel the pressure of life weighing in on me, something magnificent begins to happen. The oil of Your Spirit begins pouring from me into the situation. Regardless of what I face, You're ever-present in my life.
You're a good and loving God extending forgiveness to everyone through the shed blood of Your precious Son Jesus. You have beautifully demonstrated Your grace and agape love through His life, death, and resurrection. I have never experienced such a love. There is no greater love than the love of Christ. I can only grasp and understand this love by the Spirit for it transcends all my earthly knowledge and experience.
Lord Jesus, I trust in Your mercy and love for You have lavished both on my life. You have captured my heart and I praise You forever, because I am forever Yours. Amen!
