Proverbs 10:26
Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes is a lazy person to his employer.
Complete Jewish Bible

Wherever you go, you're My living example and witness. You are being watched even when you don't think anyone is looking; Therefore, pursue excellence in all things.

The world looks for opportunity to scorn and revile My people. Give the enemy no room to accuse or cast blame. When your life is surrendered to Me, I provide for your needs; this includes your place of employment. Even if those in authority are unbelievers, I use them to bless you. Never take My provision for granted through slothful behavior. Bless and pray for those authority figures in your life.

Don't rob from the hands of your employer or clients. You may think no one is watching, but I see the thoughts and intents of your heart; nothing goes unnoticed. Laziness not only robs from your boss and clients, but most importantly, it robs from Me.

Every minute I give for you to work is My blessing of provision in your life, especially during this current and upcoming season. Be grateful and full of praise for what you've been given.  If you criticize and complain, it gives opportunity for the enemy to cause havoc and upset on the job which can quickly escalate into serious consequences.

Don't allow a wrong attitude to breed contempt and lethargy, but rather, whatever you find to do, do it with excellence unto Me. Take every thought of justification, entitlement, self-righteousness, or pride captive. Cast down everything that exalts itself against My Word.

Then you shall be as a tree planted by living waters that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever you do will prosper.  Favor will not only surround your future reputation, but will seal your past with goodness and grace. Promotion and blessing will follow you all the days of your life.

Lord Jesus, Forgive me if I have knowingly or unknowingly robbed from my employer and/or clients. By doing so, I robbed from You. I bless those whom You placed as authority over me at work, school, church, and in my family. I only desire to reflect an attitude of excellence in everything I do. If I have wronged clients by charging more than I should, I repent. If I take more time on a job to make more money, I repent. If I sneak extra time off at lunch or even lounge around on company time; I repent. Even if my boss or clients don't notice, I know You do. You not only see my actions, but you see my motives and intentions behind them. I choose to walk in integrity and honesty; always doing what is at hand to do with faithful diligence. Amen!
