Psalm 45:1
My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
There is nothing more beautiful to the Lord than to hear the heart of His bride pouring out songs and compositions of love to her groom. We are blessed to be His blood washed bride. As each drop of His precious blood was sacrificially spilled, His love was washing over us. We were rescued from utter darkness and brought into His glorious light. Our hearts overflow with love for the lover of our souls.
There is something tremendously powerful when we express our heart-felt emotions on paper. This is especially true when it comes to our thoughts toward the Lord.
Equally powerful, is when we recite and declare what we write. Not only does our composition invade the airwaves changing the spiritual atmosphere, but Holy Spirit begins to use our tongues adding to our oral composition! We literally become a pen in His hands as He authors new and fabulous works for the Kingdom.
Quiet yourself before the Lord and begin to pour out your love for Him on paper. Allow this river of love to abandonly flow from your heart; you may be surprised at the results. Poems, love ballads, stories, deep felt prayers, and even beautiful paintings await discovery through this exercise.
Every person has creative abilities; after all, we are children of the Creator! Don't just throw this aside saying, "This is not who I am. I am not creative enough to do this." You're limiting and even quenching the Holy Spirit who lives within you.
Step out of the way and give your spirit man the pen. Whether you know this or not, you've been waiting for this moment to express your heart to Him!
When you're finished with your composition, read it out loud.
Open your mouth and He will fill it with more!
