Daily Devotional - February 20th

Daily Read “ Leviticus 9:7-10:20; Mark 4:26-5:20; Psalm 37:30-40; Proverbs 10:6-7
My precious child, you have absolutely nothing to fear because you belong to Me. When you appropriate your inherent rights as a blood bought child of the Most High God, shalom peace covers and keeps you. Enter My rest and know I am your helper and you need not fear what man can do to you.
Though the enemy uses people to accomplish many of his strategies, your fight is not against flesh and blood, but with demonic forces sent from the adversary. With that being the case, you can't use natural methods in this war. I provide spiritual weaponry for you to use to expose and defeat the enemy's plights.
When the enemy comes at you through work, school, ministry, marriage, relationships, or finances, the greatest weapon I give you to wield is rest and trust. Know that I have your back and will protect you even when you don't know you need protecting. My glory is your rearguard; meaning, I see those things that you do not see, I see it all.
I am your strength in times of trouble and trial. I deliver and help those who put their trust in Me. Stop entering into worry and fret, it leads to nothing but fear and destruction. Think about it, what does worry do for you? What does it accomplish? How does it change the circumstance before you? Worry adversely affects your entire triune being. Your mind and emotions go into places of vain imaginations throwing your body into hypertension, high blood pressure, and a host of other destructive maladies. In contrast, trust brings you into a place of peace, rest, and health.
Don't worry, Be happy Trust Me!
Heavenly Father, I recognize You as the omnipotent One! Those around me do not have the power to change the plan you have for my life. I will not be moved by circumstances or by words that shoot out from the mouths of those who surround me. Lord, I trust You with my future and I trust You with my today. I take great comfort knowing You have my back and see things I don't see. I enter into a new level of rest today releasing all into Your trustworthy hands! Amen!
Psalm 37:37-40
Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright;
For the future of that man is peace.
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together;
The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
He is their strength in the time of trouble.
And the Lord shall help them and deliver them;
He shall deliver them from the wicked,
And save them, Because they trust in Him.
