Matthew 28:20
And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. This is the theme of the greatest love story ever told and you have been chosen for the role of the bride in the sequel to this movie. The casting Director knew from the time of your conception that you would be perfect for this part. Without even knowing it, you've been in preparation for such a time as this.
In fact, the Director and Writer of the story have worked side by side seeking for someone who would fit perfectly in this role. Together, they searched throughout the world making many casting calls waiting to see who would answer, and you were the one who responded back. Many were called, but you were chosen. They are confident they made the right choice.
The main character is unknown by those in the world, but He is intimately known by those who call on Him by name. Did you know regardless of the amount of fan mail received, He personally answers all of it? How does He find the time? He loves His following so much, that He actually laid down His life and died for them in the last movie. Then in a miraculous suddenly, He was seen leaving the scene very much alive, but the movie ended without anyone knowing where He went.
The critics gave Him poor reviews, but His fans are eternally grateful to Him so much so they continue telling everyone they know about His movie. Record crowds continue to flock to the big screen to see His movie making it the largest grossing film of all time. No one tires of watching such love demonstrated by such a loving man.
The Writer knew He had to bring His leading man back, too many people needed the hope of seeing Him again, so He wrote a sequel. This is where you come in because you play a critical role as His bride.
Crews are busily working behind the scenes preparing for the premier. Sets are being created and musical scores coming into final orchestration. Many things needing last minute final touches to bring all things into completion.
The Director strongly encourages you to read and memorize the script. He wants each word to penetrate deep into the recesses of your heart to insure your role as bride becomes real and believable to those who watch you on the screen of life. The Writer is very particular about His work. He doesn't want one word omitted or taken out of context. This is one script you cannot
take artistic liberties.
Having done all, we stand waiting for the nod from the Director to His leading man. In that moment, lights, camera, and action....the bride appears having made herself ready for the groom. The groom whisks her away taking her home to be with Him forever.
As they ride off into eternity, you can hear Him say,
"And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Happy Valentine's Day
