Daily Read “ Exodus 21:22-23:13; Matthew 24:1-28; Psalm 29:1-11; Proverbs 7:6-23
Most awesome God, to You I ascribe all praise, glory, and honor. You alone are worthy of my complete and abandoned worship. There is no one who compares to Your greatness and goodness. I give You everything I am and everything I'm not. I belong to You and this utterly astounds Me. Your love overwhelms me. Your extravagant love that you lavishly pour over my life comes in such measure, it literally takes my breath away.
I stand amazed trying to comprehend that I am Your child. I am engraved in the palm of the omnipotent, all-powerful God!
When I see lightning flash across the heavens, I see Your face in the light. I wait with great anticipation to hear Your voice in the following thunder declare, "The earth is the Lords and all of its fullness." Your voice shatters the darkness throughout the earth and opens prison doors releasing and setting captives free.
In the middle of my most intense wilderness journey, I hear Your roar of victory over my dry and thirsty heart. You strengthen and encourage me to continue forging on to the fountain of life!
I worship You in the beauty of Your holiness. I extol You as King over the nations of the world. Every tongue, nation, and tribe come bowing declaring You are Lord of Lords.
I stand in Your glorious presence in awesome wonder amazed at Your glorious majesty. What a mighty God I serve! You shower me with Your peace and empower me with Your strength to walk out my Kingdom destiny.
Psalm 29
Give unto the Lord,
O you mighty ones,
Give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name;
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The Lord is over many waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars,
Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.
The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, "Glory!"
The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the Lord sits as King forever.
The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.
