Daily Read “ Exodus 10:1-12:13; Matthew 20:1-28; Psalm 25:1-15; Proverbs 6:6-11

Matthew 20:25-28
But Jesus called them to Himself and said,
"You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them,
and those who are great exercise authority over them.
Yet it shall not be so among you;
but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.
And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave -
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served,
but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

I abhor the pride and arrogance that some in my body exude. It carries a repulsive stench causing many to stumble and turn away from the faith. Pride comes before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction.

The enemy loves entrapping My people in pride and arrogance. These two spirits work together as a conniving duo setting traps to ensnare believers into self-exultation. This only leads to blinding deception.

Humble yourself before Me and I will lift you up. The lower you go, the higher you soar in My Spirit. I resist the prideful, but I give grace to the humble and contrite.

To admit and confess your sins, powerfully moves heaven on your behalf. My grace is sufficient to cover you and My blood washes over every fault and failure.

  • Crucify the need to be first and I will promote you because promotion comes from Me.
  • Crucify the need to be seen and noticed, for you are hidden in Me.
  • Crucify the need to be great and revered, because I am God and you are not.
  • Crucify the need to be catered to and served, for I came not to be served, but to serve.

Each time you humble yourself to serve others, My dunamis power pours through you releasing signs, wonders, and miracles.

Humility releases My ability
Through you!

Lord Jesus, I come before You and bow my heart in Your beautiful presence. Search my heart and shine Your light of truth on all areas encased in pride. I repent of those times I chose to steal the spotlight from You so I could be seen. Lord Jesus, I choose to decrease that You would increase. Thank You for being the example of what a laid down life looks like. I desire to die to self to be raised up as a good and faithful servant.  Amen, so be it God!
