The Word of God is alive with wonder and excitement. Regardless of how often we read it, Holy Spirit always illuminates passages bringing us new revelation. The following is an example of a frequently read and quoted psalm that it is alive and bursting with new manna to eat.
As you read this beautiful psalm, ask Holy Spirit to give you revelation for your day. Quiet yourself in the presence of the Lord and meditate on each verse.
What does lying down in green pastures feel like? How precious to feel His rest in the middle of a chaotic day! As the Lord leads you beside the still waters, what does that sound like? With phones ringing at work and children yelling for attention at home, the still waters bring a much-needed calm.
The Lord is with you in every circumstance you face today. What does it look like to have the King of Glory standing by your side? He spreads His banqueting table with abundance in the presence of your enemies. What does victory taste like? Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Can you smell the fragrance of goodness and mercy following you? It is the presence of Jesus, the rose of Sharon, who never leaves nor forsakes you.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
