Daily Read “ Genesis 31:17-32:12; Matthew 10:24-11:6; Psalm 13:1-6; Proverbs 3:16-18
There should be a song of thanksgiving blasting from the mouth of every believer across the planet. We all have something so glorious to celebrate. We are the redeemed of the Lord ransomed and cleansed by His precious blood!
As the dew covers the earth bringing renewal and refreshing, the mercy of God is new every morning and covers us. It flows from the throne of God and we can trust in its faithfulness to show up on our behalf. Regardless of what we do or don't do, the mercy of God flows to us.
From the moment of conception to the present, God has dealt bountifully with us. He blessed us with the gift of life. Let us not take one breath for granted for it is a treasured prize.
Sometimes we can fall into the trap of self-pity focusing on all the bad things we believe surrounds us rather than realizing how incredibly blessed we are in Him. He has dealt bountifully with you and I, that is the truth!
He blesses us with the sounds of the roaring oceans and the fragrance from the spring rains. He romances us with spectacular sunsets and comforts us in the warmth of His sun. As the morning sun peeks over the horizon, He greets us with colorful reminders of His extravagant love. Awesome is this God we serve, awesome is His love!
No matter where we go, He walks with us flooding our lives with bountiful blessings. Surely, His goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives!
Take a few minutes and ask Holy Spirit to show you the ways in which you are blessed. Begin to write down all the things He reveals to you. By the time He is finished, you will have a new song of rejoicing to sing to the Lord.
