Daily Read “ Genesis 23:1-24:51; Matthew 8:1-17; Psalm 9:13-20; Proverbs 3:1-6
My mercy and truth provide a shield of protection over your heart and mouth. When the enemy comes with temptation to lash out at someone in hatred or to judge them falsely, raise these shields and watch those daggers from the flesh melt like wax.
You have the choice to allow your mind, will, and emotions to run unbridled or you can rein them into the subjection of My Lordship. Mercy and truth shut the doors to hypocrisy, deception, hatred, and selfishness. With these doors shut, the fruit of My Spirit begins to flow from your life to others -love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control poured out.
These spiritual fruits pave your path with much favor and success. You will definitely stand out in a crowd. People will be drawn to you and won't even know why. They will smell the aroma of My fruit and even taste it in your life. Those from whom you least expect will shower you with blessings, even esteeming you above others. Because you choose to walk in My ways and not yours, promotions, raises, and amazing opportunities will run after you. Most importantly, My favor and esteem will be upon your life.
Put your trust in Me and stop relying on your own understanding and intellect. I direct each step you take in this life when you choose to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
Lord Jesus, I desire nothing more than to please You with all of who I am. Your mercy and truth are precious jewels and I ask for wisdom to know how to write them more distinctly upon my heart. When they look at me, I want people to see You in all Your beauty. I do not want my heart to exude anything, but Your mercy and truth to everyone I meet. By way of revelation, I ask You show me all open door accesses I have to the enemy of selfishness, hatred, hypocrisy, and deception. I repent and close those doors now in the Name of Jesus. I command every demonic influence in these areas to loose their hold and go straight to the abyss in Jesus Name. I refuse to lean on my own understanding, but I choose to trust You wholly and completely. In Your Name I pray, Amen!

Let not mercy and kindness [shutting out all hatred and selfishness]
and truth [shutting out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood] forsake you;
bind them about your neck, write them upon the tablet of your heart.
So shall you find favor, good understanding, and high esteem
in the sight [or judgment] of God and man.
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart
and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know, recognize,
and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
