Psalm 143:5-6
I remember the days of old; I muse on the work of Your hands.
I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.
I meditate on all Your works;
Precious Lord Jesus,
In the hustle and bustle of the season, I sometimes find myself drifting from the reason for the season. I forget to stop to reflect on the extravagant love You lavished on me when you came to earth.
As I ponder My countless blessings, I realize how amazing You are in my life! From the moment of my conception, You gifted me with a destiny and each day, You orchestrate events in my life to insure its fulfillment.
Looking back through all the years, I see Your hand reaching to me through every stage of my life. I am grateful for Your faithful and enduring love that kept reaching out even during those times I turned my back to You in rejection. Your amazing grace kept reaching out to me until beauty blossomed from the ashes of my life.
I am the work of Your hands. You call me Your masterpiece and treasured, prized possession. I am overwhelmed beyond words to know the creator of all cherishes me. I lift my hands to You in praise and adoration; there is no one who compares to You. You are my savior, deliverer, redeemer, healer, provider, protector, advocate, defender, and my Lord.
As the deer longs for the water brooks, my soul desperately longs for You. No one, but my Beloved satisfies the heart cries within my heart. I am thirsty and in need of the living waters You abundantly supply.
May I never forget the wondrous gifts You give to me, especially the most wonderful of all, the gift of YOU! I am forever grateful.
