Dec 22, 2024 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Daily Read “ Zechariah 2:1-3:10; Revelation 13:1-18; Psalm 141:1-10; Proverbs 30:18-20

Psalm 141:3
 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth;
Keep watch over the door of my lips.

I am the only one who sees into your tomorrow. I see the paths where the enemy sets snares to entrap and trip you up. Trust Me with your whole heart and do not lean into your own logic and reasoning for I will walk you through every path victoriously. I see ahead and will steer you away from the obstacles.

As you walk into the next few days, the enemy has plans to bring irritation, agitation, and aggravation into your life. He will use situations among family members, people at department stores, employers, co-workers, and fellow believers to cause a reaction from your flesh. Do not be ignorant of the enemy's devices but be alert and watchfully pray that you are not caught off guard. The enemy has a plan to ensnare you by the words of your mouth in reaction to strategically calculated circumstances.

You have two choices, to use your mouth to bless or to use it to curse. One brings life and the other brings death. Choose life! As an act of your will, submit your mouth to Me and I will place a watch and guard over the flapping door of your lips. Submit to Me, resist the temptation to react from a place of irritation, agitation, and aggravation, then watch the enemy flee from every situation.

Do not play into the devil's hands. He continually watches you observing your reactions. He relies on your predictability, so turn the tables on him and do something that is completely unpredictable. Use your mouth to bring order into chaos by blessing, exhorting, and edifying.

During this Christmas season, allow Me to move through you to change the atmosphere from one of irritation to exultation. Exalting the King of Kings above all else!

When you take a bite of that
 sweet Christmas candy,
Be reminded to release sweetness and
 goodness through your mouth.
Everyone will want the recipe!

Lord Jesus, as you already know, I am entering into some uncomfortable situations this Christmas season. In many ways, I dread it, but I know You want me to grow and mature through every one of them. I ask for a guard to be placed over my mouth and for You to watch the door to my lips. I need You to walk me through this season and remind me to use my mouth to bless and edify. I truly desire to live from the Spirit and not from my flesh. I expect to see family touched, co-workers blessed, employers healed, and the world impacted by the words of my mouth.  In Jesus Name, Amen!
