Daily Devotional - December 20th

Daily Read “ Haggai 1:1-2:23; Revelation 11:1-19; Psalm 139:1-24; Proverbs 30:15-16
Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus Christ, every part of my heart bows to Your Lordship in my life. I desire to walk in Your will fulfilling the destiny You have written for me in eternity.
My thoughts are an open book before Your omnipotence. You know everything about me including every thought and meditation upon my heart. Your light of truth shines deep into hidden places of my soul revealing areas where I desperately need healing and restoration. I give You permission to penetrate deep into those areas calling them up to the light of Your glorious mercy and grace. All anxiety and worry must bow in Your presence.
Lord Jesus, illuminate those areas where I have blind spots and cannot see sin tendencies. I must close all open doors that give the enemy open access into my life. I repent asking for Your precious blood to come purge, cleanse, and heal. I release these areas, trusting You are Lord and asking You to now reign over them.
I no longer desire to take the lead in this dance called life. I present myself as a living sacrifice asking You to take the lead and to guide me into the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24
