Ezekiel 47:9
And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live.
There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there;
for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.
My river flows with tremendous force from the Throne. It continuously flows unhindered and unobstructed, nothing stops My River. It breaks through and tears apart mountains tossing them into the midst of the sea. There is one mountain however, that diverts the river's flow and that is the unyielding, hard-hearted, obstinate will of man. The river keeps flowing, but goes around this mountain and as a result, many never experience the life giving flow of My Spirit.
The river flows where there is thirst. Holy Spirit guides and directs the run of the river according to the thirst in the land. If My people busy themselves in religiosity and mediocrity, the river runs ankle deep. The river rises to the knees when there is a thirst for deeper realms of My Spirit. When passion and desperation for Me rise, so does the river. The more you surrender and release, the more My River flows.
How thirsty are you? Do you want to swim in the depths of communion and revelation where My Spirit carries you to exceeding heights or are you satisfied splashing and playing in puddles? I desire to send My river as a mighty, rushing torrent to carry you to places in My Spirit that will transform and shift not only you, but also those around you.
Allow My healing and life giving waters to overtake you with My love. Let Me carry you out from your pain and disappointment into your destiny. Trust Me, take a deep breath and dive into the deep things of My Spirit. As it was from the beginning of beginnings, until now and into eternity, the river surges on bringing life and healing wherever it goes. The current will carry you to the sick, lame, broken, and lost and you will release My life and healing into this hurting, broken world.
The prayer today is actually a declaration. It is a children's song sung by millions across the world.
I've got a river of life flowing out of me
Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see
Opens prison doors set the captives free
I've got a river of life flowing out of me
Spring up O' well, within my soul
Spring up O' well, and make me whole
Spring up O' well, and give to me
That life abundantly!
AMEN!
