Daily Devotional - November 12th

Daily Read “ Ezekiel 24:1-26:21; Hebrews 11:1-16; Psalm 110:1-7, Proverbs 27:14
Faith is trusting and hoping in and/or for something without seeing it with your physical eyes. It is viewing those things that are unseen and eternal as more real than those things which are seen with the physical sense of sight. It is when a reality arises within your inner most being that moves you toward believing without tangible, physical evidence.
The entire universe is created out of nothingness. I spoke, and all things came into existence and birthed from the womb of My heart. You are created from the depths of My heart. Everything you see now comes from the unseen world of yesterday.
Faith brings Me great delight because it reveals a trusting heart. When you diligently seek and chase after Me, you demonstrate a trust and belief in who I am in your life. There are great rewards for this kind of faith.
Noah obediently followed My instruction without any physical evidence to support My request and his entire household were saved as a result. The season you have just entered requires this type of faith and obedience. It is critical to hear My voice and then to expediently obey My instruction because eternity hangs in the balance.
There are places I need you to be at strategic times, will you be ready to go even if it makes no logical sense? There are people of influence that I will ask you to meet; will you be obedient to see them, even if it looks impossible in the natural? There are things I will ask you to do; will you be obedient to do them, even if they are way beyond your natural abilities to do?
Lord Jesus, I believe, but help me in any area of unbelief. I want to please You in everything I do in My life. I desire to demonstrate unwavering faith and trust in who You are as my Lord and Savior. I want to be known as one who walks with eyes fixed on You, the author and finisher of my faith.
With his eyes fixed on You, Peter jumped out of the boat and into the arms of faith as he walked on water. It was when he allowed the storm around him to steal his gaze away from You that the seen world became more real than You in that moment. The natural realm became more real to him and he sank as a result, but You lifted him back up and out of his doubt. Thank you for rescuing me in those times my eyes drift away from You and look elsewhere.
Lord Jesus, I am ready and willing to listen for Your voice and obey Your instructions. I will not sink, but swim in the river of faith! Amen.
