Daily Read “ Lamentations 3:1-66; Hebrews 1:1-14; Psalm 102:1-28; Proverbs 26:21-22
Hebrews 1:1-4
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things,
through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person,
and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins,
sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels,
as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
When you look at My Son, you see Me, Your heavenly Father. Jesus is My love song sent to demonstrate My love for all. He is My heart birthed in the flesh to dwell among all people. Emmanuel, God with you.
Philippians 2:5-8, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
He left heaven and came to earth through a woman and was given the garments of flesh and blood. He clothed Himself in humanity and grew from a baby to manhood, walking through every phase of life in between.
He who knew no sin became sin for You. He laid everything down including His life for you, His bride... the joy of His heart. He took your sin upon Himself and nailed it to the cross where His blood spilled out for the redemption of all people for all eternity.
He is your groom, savior, redeemer, and your best friend. He speaks to you revealing My heart and will for your life. Even now, can you hear His still small voice speaking?
I have made Him heir over all things. He created all things and upholds all things by the word of His power. He reflects My glory and image perfectly. He is exquisitely beautiful and radiates My light to this world. He is exalted and sits at My right hand far exceeding the angels. His name is above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Father, thank You for sending Your precious Son to demonstrate Your love. Jesus is my favorite love song! I can hear, feel, and see this song as it resonates within encouraging me along life's journey. Jesus, Your love amazes me. The price You paid for my freedom goes beyond my ability to comprehend. I lay my life down for You in humble adoration. I kneel before You and confess that You are Jesus Christ the Lord of my life! Amen.
