2 Corinthians 4:7
However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel]
in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power
may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.
Amplified Bible

He is the potter and we are the clay. Mere man carrying the light of God. To ponder this causes one to fall in humble adoration to our Maker, the God of all. One can only imagine what we look like in the eyes of our enemy. When looking at us, all he sees is the exceeding greatness and power of Almighty God! He is terrified of us.

Why then would fear or intimidation have a place in our heart? Darkness counts on us buying the lies it sells. Rather than believing the Word of God, many times we allow life's circumstances to beat us down into places of doubt and unbelief. We view ourselves through the darkness of discouragement instead of the light of God's truth.

Understand that Jesus Christ lives and shines through our lives. The preciousness of God dwells inside His children demonstrating His miraculous love to this world. It has nothing to do with us and everything to do with Him. He chooses to fill clay vessels with His Glory which then transform into golden vessels of honor to carry Him to the nations.

There can be no doubt from Whom this power comes; it pours from the awesomeness of God who resides in us. Knowing who He is and His desire to radiate in and through us is beyond humbling, it is absolutely astounding.

Psalm 8:4 - What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
