When I came to be with Father I sent Holy Spirit to be with you as your advocate and friend. He is My bridal gift to bring you comfort and guidance throughout your entire life into eternity. When trials and tribulations come, He will carry you through. When sorrow or loss comes, He wraps you in His arms of comfort rocking you into peace. When danger threatens you, He takes you by the hand and guides you to the safety of the secret place. When persecution assaults you, He teaches you how to demonstrate My love and forgiveness. When temptation comes, He provides the way of escape.
Whatever faces you today, I am here through My Spirit to guide you through everything. I daily prove My faithfulness and love to you. I am your strength in your greatest weakness. I am the encouragement that keeps you going when you know you cannot. I am the sudden joy that bubbles out when you least expect it. I am the peace when it looks like total defeat. I am the calm when the storm is raging. I am the comfort when it feels impossible.
One of the most beautiful aspects of your walk with Me is how I use what you learn to help and comfort others. So many people walk this life void of love because they have yet to open their hearts to Me. They long for peace of mind but have no idea how to obtain it. You have the answer; you have My comfort to give to them. We have walked through much together, but through every step, your life has been enriched and strengthened. Your life testifies of My mercy and grace bringing you through. Your story outpours with comfort and hope.
Nothing that happens in life is a waste when you belong to Me. I bring good out of all things. Even today, look for the unexpected visitor who needs what you have learned. They need someone to take the time to care and minister My comfort to them as I have so generously done for you. The hurting are everywhere. Listen to them cry and wipe their tears, as I have dried yours. Let them share their heart, as I let you share yours. Accept them for who they are, as I accept you. Comfort them, as I comfort you.
Precious Jesus, thank You for sending Holy Spirit to minister comfort and hope to me. With the world becoming more and more shaky and unstable, I take great comfort knowing You are right beside me making sure I am safe and secure. You have blessed me with so much and I cannot imagine how others survive without Your presence in their lives. Lord, forgive me when I have been selfish with the things You give me. Help me see others who need hope and teach me how to share Your goodness with them that they too can experience Your comfort in their trying times. Amen!
