Daily Read - Job 12:1-15:35; 1 Corinthians 15:29-58; Psalm 39:1-13; Proverbs 21:30-31
My child, nothing happens today that takes Me by surprise. I see the winds of adversity that rage against you, but they cannot overtake you. I am here holding you up with My mighty right hand.
No weapon formed against you can prosper because I stand beside you thwarting its power and deflecting its affects. The tongue of man that arrogantly flaunts its wisdom and intellectualism has nothing on Me which means, it has nothing on you.
Don't allow worldly counsel and advice to infiltrate and influence your life in any way. Resist the temptation to come under the spirit of intimidation. The enemy can use the tongue of the unrighteous to cloak you in garments of heaviness and despair, but I give you the garments of praise to wear.
The words of man cannot prevail against what I say about you, so take off every garment of negativity spoken over your life and replace it with praise. The things I speak to you are eternal and will never pass away, but will establish your steps as you walk in this life.
Holy Spirit prepares you for what is to come in Your life and as you listen to and obey His leading, you will stand strong in whatever circumstance you find yourself. Always know and be confident that your deliverance and victory comes from Me. No matter how prepared you become, I will always be the one who defends you guaranteeing your triumph.
Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me when I listen to the counsel of others before coming to You first. You are the Counselor and the one to whom all wisdom has been given. I choose to turn away from the counsel of the ungodly and heed Your instructions for my life. I pray for the discernment to know the difference between the wisdom of man and Your wisdom. Lord, help my perception that I will quickly recognize when flesh is talking rather than Your Spirit. I shake off the garments of heaviness put there by the enemy through years of targeted negativity toward my heart. I put on the beautiful garments of praise and victory. Amen.
