1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
Dear Lord Jesus,
It is an awesome blessing to wake up in the morning to another beautiful new day filled with life and hope. My lungs fill with breath and my heart beats with thanksgiving and gratitude to You my Lord and precious savior. Thank You for giving me the free gift of life through Your shed blood. It is because of Your extraordinary love I can look forward to a future bursting with adventure and filled with excitement.
I pray for those who do not have the revelation of Your amazing love. Holy Spirit, I pray for you to go into the hearts and lives of each one preparing them to receive Christ's extravagant gift of life. When I look into their eyes, I see the death of Adam embedded in their souls. The light of Your glory is missing from their eyes. Lord, my heart aches for them because I know the emptiness they feel.
I cannot imagine my life without You, but I cannot forget what it was like before You. I remember the loneliness I felt and the emptiness that nothing could fill. I truly was a dead man walking into a future without hope, but then I found Your overwhelming light and it has radiated inside of me ever since.
I do not deny that I face trials and tribulations, but in the midst of the most trying of times, I know You have rescued me from the darkness of death and brought me into Your glorious light of eternal life.
I am forever grateful to You. In You I live, move, and have my being. I no longer live under the curse of Adam, but I am the redeemed of the Lord! Amen!
