Psalm 37:30-31
The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom,
And his tongue talks of justice.
The law of his God is in his heart;
None of his steps shall slide.
Those who receive the gift of salvation having all sins washed away and cleansed by the blood of Jesus, stand righteous in the sight of God's presence. Christ Himself, with all His wisdom dwells within your spirit man. A new you emerges, one who radiates with resurrection life from your inner man. God imprints His law on the tablets of your heart.
When this transformation occurs, it throws the soul and body into a major shift as well. All of the sudden, resurrection begins shaking up dead places within your mind, will, and emotions motivating all to surrender to this new found life.
The more of you that surrenders to this
shake-up, the more of Him that enters into your life. At this point, amazing and miraculous things begin to happen in and through you because Christ has more Lordship in your life. Even your tongue becomes a righteous weapon in His hand. Your speech begins changing with idle chatter giving way to words of wisdom and justice.
You are a sign and wonder to others who wonder why your steps are sure and steady while the rest of the world is falling apart. They watch and listen with amazement as you take life by storm rather than succumbing to the storms in life.
You are not the wretched sinner that some might have led you to believe; you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. His blood not only cleansed and redeemed you, but also runs through your veins. His resurrection life within calls on you daily to surrender those dead places in your soul to Him.
Surrender the dead, then rise up and live!
