Hebrews 3:15
"Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."

I am speaking to you all the time, are you listening? I speak to you when you wake up in the morning and as you fall asleep at night. My voice permeates your dreams. Are you listening?

I speak in many unique ways and always try to convey My heart to you. Remember, that unexplainable scent of fragrance that suddenly came and quickly left...it was Me telling you, "People may disappoint, but I will never leave you." The gentle breeze that kissed your cheek...that was Me saying, "I love you." The baby you saw, whose giggles brought joy to your heart...that was Me saying, "My joy is your strength." Remember waking up to the song of that little bird perched outside your window? He kept singing and singing when all you wanted to do was sleep in. Yes, that was Me saying, "Wake up! I have an amazing day planned for you today.”

All day long, My voice reaches out to you asking for your attention. Will you stop to listen?  Do not harden your heart nor turn a deaf ear to Me for fear of what I may say. I am a good and loving Father and have good things in store for your today and tomorrows. Embrace My voice of instruction and then you will prosper.

Flesh hates My voice and will fight to keep your ears from hearing. It wants what it wants and will continue to keep you in a state of deafness until it is crucified.

The quicker you nail your flesh to the cross,
the sooner you will hear My voice.

Father, I desire a closer relationship with You. Forgive me for doing all the talking and not much listening. Relationship is about honoring and listening to others, and I have lacked in this area in my relationship with You. Sometimes I get in such a hurry to tell You all my stuff that I forget to stop and listen to Your response. I have missed how You speak through the song of the bird, the kiss of the breeze, and the laughter of babies because I have given my ears to other things. Today, that stops. I give You my full attention. My ears belong to You. I will not run away from Your voice but will embrace and treasure it. Amen!
