Psalm 33:18-20
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,
To deliver their soul from death,
And to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.

When the pressures of life and circumstances of the day press in on you, come away and wait in My presence. I am not hard to find so search for Me with your whole heart and you will find Me. I am the first one to answer when you call; however, many times I go unnoticed because other voices quickly follow mine screaming for your attention. Your soul (mind, will, and emotions) tends to listen to the loudest noise, the one that triggers a rash response.

Submit your soul to Me and rest in the presence of My peace. In this place, destruction may swirl all around, but it cannot touch you because I hold you in safety. Famine may knock at your door, but it cannot enter because I set a shield of protection around My beloved. Allow Me to reassure you that I am your Father and will take care of you.

Do not give your ears to the negative reports coming from the world, but tune into My good news and declare it over your soul. What I say overrides and usurps everything and everyone else.

I know about everything that concerns you, My eyes watch even those things you do not see. You are My special, appointed one and your future stands secure. Give no place to the enemy of worry; it only ties you up in knots, which is its strategy.

Trust Me, I have you....
I will never let you go.

Heavenly Father, I give my ears to hear only Your news. I refuse to give my ears to a spirit of fear that taunts and torments. I declare the truth of Your Word to my soul and command it to submit to it. Psalms 33:18-20 is my portion and I accept it as truth for my life. As I rest in Your awesome presence, I also rest in the fact You hold Me in the palm of Your hand. Now, who would be foolish enough to try and touch me there? You are My God and you never let me go; that's all my soul needs to hear right now! Amen.
