Daily Read - 2 Chronicles 8:11-10:19; Romans 8:9-25; Psalm 18:16-36; Proverbs 19:26
 Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,
He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through
His Spirit who dwells in you.
Astounding is it not? The Spirit of God inhabits us; His fullness resides within each believer. The reality of God actually living inside of us is difficult  to grasp, but because of His great love, He chooses to abide in our hearts.
The same power God used to raise His Son from death, hell, and the grave resides and dwells in us. We carry resurrection life within our DNA and it infuses every fiber of our triune being. If we fully understood the brevity of what this means, it would revolutionize our lives. We would walk in divine mental and physical health continually. Sickness, disease, and infirmity would melt in the presence of resurrection life. Mental disorders would have no choice but to come into right order by the dictates of the Spirit. Resurrection would flow from every believer in such a degree, death would bow, and the dead would literally rise up and walk out of mortuaries and morgues. Talk about a media frenzy, the name of Jesus would spread over the airwaves like wildfire.
This is not wishful thinking or something out of a fantasy novel, this comes from the pages of the Bible and it’s time we allow the Spirit of God to move through each of us in the way and extent He desires.
Of course, logic and reason always interfere with our ability to receive the truth of who we are in the Spirit. Immediately following a revelation, the Bonnie and Clyde of our soul come along trying to steal our identity in Christ Jesus. Ask Holy Spirit to shelter your mind from thoughts contrary to your God-given identity. Activate your discernment to recognize lies and refuse their entrance. Allow the cleansing blood of Christ to wash away old thought patterns and programming that consistently play distorted messages attacking your identity. It’s time to push the erase button and eradicate all of them.
Meditate on this scripture today and ask Holy Spirit for revelation of what it looks like to live in the resurrection life of Christ. What changes will this bring in your life and how will you live from this point on?
