Daily Devotional - July 14th

Daily Read - 1 Chronicles 16:37-18:17; Romans 2:1-24; Psalm 10:16-18; Proverbs 19:8-9
Today My voice comes in quiet stillness as on the wings of a cool mountain breeze. You must intentionally purpose to listen or you will miss the message. When you search with your whole heart, you will find Me in the still small voice. I am speaking, but you must listen for the whisper.
There are parts within your heart that cannot grasp or fathom the depths of My kindness and mercy. Logic and reason persuade you to dismiss the fact I love you and paid a great price for your life. I do not use the methodology of the world to correct My children; it is through kindness I lead you to repentance.
Condemnation, guilt, and shame always work together to keep you locked down in a place of hopelessness. If you believe their lies, you will have a difficult time turning from your sins because you will believe your sins are beyond My forgiveness. Don't allow another minute of your life to waste away into the bottomless pit of unworthiness but turn and run to the mercy of the cross. Listen for My voice that whispers, "I love you." Give ear to the song that comes on the wings of the breeze calling you into the kindness of My embrace.
Take time to quiet your soul in My presence allowing My kindness to overwhelm your heart. Soak in the waters of My revelatory love and bask in the cleansing flow of My blood. Do not move from this place until you receive what is already yours... forgiveness. Surrender to My work in you. Resist the interference that comes from flesh as it tries to drag you back into sin and away from Me.
In this moment, it is very important to wait and allow yourself to encounter My kindness. Give your attention to the inner voice of My Spirit calling for complete surrender so you can fully receive.
Lord Jesus, I take the next several minutes to seek Your voice. I submit my mind, will, emotions, and body to Your Lordship and command all interference to cease. I choose to quiet myself in Your presence to encounter Your hand of kindness leading me to your heart of love. I stand still and submit in this moment to receive everything You choose to pour into me. Amen!
