Daily Read - 1 Chronicles 12:19-14:17; Romans 1:1-17; Psalm 9:13-20; Proverbs 19:4-5
 
So many rabbit trails and wild goose chases could be avoided if only My people would come and inquire of Me. I know your past, I know your present, and most importantly, I know your future. The steps of the righteous are ordered by Me, but you must be willing to allow Me to do that in your life!
 
David was a man who chased after My heart. He was known as a mighty king and warrior because He came and inquired of the One who was greater and mightier! I showed him things to come and gave him wisdom beyond anything a person on earth could reveal. Angels fought his battles because he released the battles into My hands asking for guidance and direction.
 
Today, there are many decisions to be made and each one screams for your attention trying to convince you they are your priority. Of course, the more they scream, the more your soul feels hard pressed to rush in and make an emotionally charged decision without first asking Me. Living from this place of the soul leads to failure and shipwreck!
 
There is nothing so pressing in your life that would exclude Me from your decision making. Exclude Me from your decisions and you exclude the answer, the solution, and the way out. Include Me, and you include the One who knows all things!  Think about it, is there really a choice?
 
 I know the enemy brings his lies to press you to make decisions without first consulting My counsel.  Of course, his strategy is to convince you that time prevents you from going to God. This decision demands an immediate answer. However, this season demands My input and you can't afford not to include Me. Remember, I do not wait on time, but time waits on Me. I am timeless and My Kingdom lives in timelessness.
 
 As you begin each day, call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know! Do not put off until tomorrow, what you need to begin today. In this very moment inquire of Me and I will show you what to do next.
 
Lord Jesus, forgive me for neglecting to come to You for direction and guidance in everything. It makes no difference if I consider decisions as small or great, You hold all the answers. I call on and inquire of You. I present every situation that requires a decision today and I commit the next several minutes to wait on Your wisdom and counsel. I refuse all pressure from the enemy to make unwise decisions and submit them to You for Your input. Lord Jesus, I rest and wait on You!
