Psalm 4:8
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Come away from the worries and anxieties of the day and rest. Let Me embrace you in the comfort of My arms and wipe away the day's struggles. You are not meant to carry these heavy weights; your shoulders cannot carry the load. Cast all your cares on Me and I will take them from you.

I so desire for you to come to the safety of My presence. I know the pain you have experienced in your life and how difficult it is for you to trust that there is truly a safe place, free from pain and trauma. I am the only one who can provide a place where you can dwell in complete safety.

I give My beloved sleep not only to refresh and renew your physical body, but also to bring your soul into a place where I can speak to you. I love visiting My children in their dreams. There are many things I can say in your dreams that I cannot say when you are awake. The reason is quite simple, many times when you are awake, I do not have your full attention because of the many other distractions in your life. When you sleep, your soul enters into rest and your spirit man rises up to listen to what I have to say.

It is no wonder the thief tries to steal your sleep. He knows this is one of the most treasured times I have to commune with My children. He also knows the revelation I impart during these special encounters. So much happens while you sleep things you are totally unaware of during your waking hours. For instance, so many times, your body receives healing because your mind is fast asleep and cannot put up the doubt and unbelief fight.

Sleep is My gift to you for many, many reasons and carries a tremendous purpose in your walk with Me.

My child, run into the arms of your Father and let Me sing you to sleep. I want to speak to you in new ways and reveal new things to you while you sleep.

Close your eyes, it's time to start dreaming again!
