Daily Read - 1 Kings 14:1-15:24; Acts 10:1-23; Psalm 133:1-3; Proverbs 17:7-8
When I speak, My Words specifically target religious mindsets. Those ideas and beliefs based on man's theology and not on My revealed truth. One supernatural encounter with the Almighty God clears out the cobwebs of confusion spun by generations of wrong thinking.
One moment in My presence and Peter was forever changed. He experienced a paradigm shift so dramatic it transitioned My church forever. The vision I gave him spoke directly to and tore down religious mindsets. These would have kept him from fulfilling his mission to reach the gentile nations for My kingdom. He had to receive the revelation that what I cleanse is not common or untouchable. Had Peter refused to yield to My voice, Cornelius and his family would not have come into salvation. However, this was just the beginning of My purposes. Through this, Peter's heart opened to receive My plans to reach all the nations on earth for Me.
There are people I desire for you to reach and there cannot be any hesitancy in your heart to do so. When I speak, you must be ready and willing to put all conflicting mindsets aside to obey what I say. I may ask you to share my love with certain segments of society you deem undesirable or untouchable. You must crucify these prejudices, or you will never fulfill your complete destiny. Peter chose to lay down his views and even preconceived prejudices and as a result, My Kingdom exploded into the gentile nations. As a reminder, your salvation is the result of Peter's obedience.
I need your complete cooperation in this hour because desperate people are waiting for salvation on the other side of your obedience. Things are not as they were; there is acceleration in the spiritual realm and eternity hangs in the balance for millions.
The enemy has used numerous disasters to bring devastation to many and I need My church ready to meet the challenges facing the hurting and destitute. I am downloading new strategies to meet these challenges, but you will miss them if you choose to hold onto the old.
Precious Jesus, I choose to lay down all mindsets that would hinder my ability to hear and obey Your instructions. The last thing I would ever want is to miss the fullness of what You have for me. I receive Your correction in My life because I desire to walk in excellence and obedience. I realize the hour is urgent and my decisions have far-reaching consequences. I want all my ways to be pleasing in Your sight. Amen!

9 The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city,
Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour.
10 Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance
11 and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners,
descending to him and let down to the earth.
12 In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air.
13 And a voice came to him, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat."
14 But Peter said, "Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean."
15 And a voice spoke to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed you must not call common."
16 This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again.
