Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Rejoice, I give this day to you as a special gift filled with wonder and extraordinary opportunity. Everyday belongs to Me because I created it and called it into order according to My providential plan.

Regardless of what transpires in and throughout the day, I own it because I created it. The enemy doesn't own this day he can't, because I do. I created it, it is Mine.

My precious child, from the rising to the setting of the sun, I fashion all things in this day to bless you. Open your eyes and watch as the landscape changes. I enhance the picture with various hues of color throughout the day. It never remains the same, but the masterpiece constantly changes and transforms as I add special heavenly touches.

I fill your day with the sounds of heaven. Listen, for the songs of praise coming from the birds as they busily ready their nests to receive new life. Praise explodes from majestic rivers as they plunge over mountains of jagged rock. Open your ears to hear melodic sounds carried on invisible winds.

I made this day specifically for you to fill your heart with joy and abundant blessings. Even in the midst of dark and trying circumstances, My light always shines. There is no such thing as a good day or a bad day, but a day of grace. I've equipped and empowered you with everything you need to live out this day victoriously.

The enemy tries to capture your gaze using circumstances that demand your attention. However, if you choose to fix your eyes on Me, you will see My light in every situation guiding you through to victory. Look for and seek out the beauty in this day. It is all around you because I placed it there for you to find. Rejoice and celebrate the wonder and magnificence of today.

This is the day that I have made
Rejoice and be glad in it!

Lord Jesus, what a wonder You are! As I quiet and still my heart in Your presence, my ears and eyes begin to open to Your beauty. I experience the truth found in this glorious day. Regardless of what happens, I choose to rejoice and be glad for You made this day unique and special for me. Instead of focusing on the dark, I look for Your light because it shines in and through everything. I refuse to allow the enemy to hijack this day. It belongs to You and You give it to me as a gift. Amen!
