Daily Read - 1 Samuel 10:1-11:15; John 6:43-71; Psalm 107:1-43; Proverbs 15:1-3
You are a supernatural being infused with My DNA and divine nature. You are created and equipped to flow and live from the place of your regenerated spirit man at all times. It is the Spirit that brings life not only to you, but also to those I send your way.
As you walk into your day remember, the flesh profits absolutely nothing. The words I speak are spirit and life and can only be understood by your spirit. Your natural mind cannot grasp spiritual revelation; in fact, if you even try interpreting what I say through the filter of your unsubmitted mind, it will sound like babble making no sense to your logic or reason.
The facts are the facts; you are a spirit housed temporarily in a body and soul. The problem does not lie with your spirit because it recognizes and receives spiritual things; the problem is with your unruly soul. It is from this place, doubt and unbelief set up camp.
As My child, you have the authority and responsibility to chase out all illegal campers who have taken ground in your mind. Do not ask Me to do something that I have given you the ability to do yourself. You are the only one with the power to rein in your will.
The fruit is evident when My people walk in the Spirit; and likewise, there is abundant fruit when My people walk in the flesh. It is very distinguishable by those onlookers in the world. An example of this is found in Proverbs 15:2, the tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. Those led by My Spirit discern how and when to speak. They only share what I say to them when released to do so. On the other hand, the mouth of the fleshy fool pours out uncontrollably revealing the true condition of their heart. Out of the heart, the mouth speaks.
Instead of speaking life-changing revelation, they speak empty, unprofitable words bringing humiliation. How many words come from your flesh profiting nothing for My Kingdom compared to those words birthed from your divine nature?
Remember, I am not the only one who hears your words; the enemy intentionally positions himself to capitalize on anything spoken from the flesh. His ears tune into the dark and negative because that is his nature. He recognizes flesh a mile away. Give the enemy what he deserves; speak words of life and watch him flee away.
Lord Jesus, I am a new creature, old things have passed away and behold, I am new. Forgive me for resurrecting the old dead man and living from that place. I have Your DNA and divine nature pulsating through every part of my being. I repent for the times I choose to walk contrary to Your ways because it seems more natural. Well, it is natural, but I am supernatural. The two do not mix! As an act of my will, I choose to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh. I want what flows from my mouth to bring life and healing, not destruction and decay. I want a life filled with fruit and profiting in every area. I choose to walk in Your ways, for therein lies abundant life. Amen!
