Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.
Dear Father God, I stand in the gap for our wonderful country and lift it up before Your righteous throne. I pray for the heart of this nation to return to its righteous beginnings where we are all one united under God.
I pray for Your sovereign justice to rule and reign in this land. I command all things hidden brought up into the light of Your truth. All hidden sin within every branch of government exposed. Truth revealed in the name of Jesus. I command all plans and schemes of wickedness unearthed and brought up from darkness for all eyes to see.
Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in and through every senator, congressman, judge, governor, mayor, teacher, and especially through the president and his entire cabinet. May Your righteousness and truth flow through every facet of society bringing a mighty awakening in this great land.
Lord, begin with my heart. Search me and reveal all places of hidden darkness that I may quickly repent and walk away from it. Purge the body of Christ starting with the leadership. I pray for Your precious church to return to the power of the full gospel and not a watered-down version that tickles the ear. Let us return to a message which challenges us into change rather than stroking us into a slumbering place of complacency.
Precious Jesus, we need a mighty outpouring of Your presence to rain down on this dry and thirsty land. We are desperate for an awakening in the body of Christ that we would turn from our wicked ways and bow in humble adoration before our Almighty God. Then You will hear from heaven and heal our land. I pray for a holy fire to ignite inside the hearts and minds of Your people. I ask for Your gracious love to come and bring righteousness out of the ashes of destruction. I pray that as a nation, we would humble ourselves before Your throne and You would lift us up into spiritual greatness.
I hear the sound within the heavenly realm of Your mighty and powerful bride once again bringing honor and glory to Your awesome name. Amen!
