In times of trouble and turmoil, I'm the only answer. Without Me in your life, money holds absolutely no value. In and of itself, it is powerless in its efforts to bring comfort, relief, and escape. It's just a piece of paper with green ink.
 
In God We Trust is a declaration of faith written on the dollar bill. A powerful Kingdom decree, but many in My church have put their trust in the paper it is written on and not in Me.  Unfortunately, this allows enemy access to shake and sift their finances.
 
There can be no idols before Me. Idolatry of any kind brings serious repercussions. It opens enormous access points for the enemy to enter our lives setting up strongholds and roadblocks in the spirit and natural realms.  
 
Money in and of itself is not evil, but the love and dependency on money is the root of all evil.  It becomes unholy mammon. This misplaced affection leads to emptiness and ultimate lack in the very area of the idolatry.
 
Worldly money and riches don't profit in times of anguish. They can't provide when economic systems crash; they can't bring healing when bodies are attacked with sickness and disease; and they can't provide comfort when heartache comes.  Only those who walk in My Kingdom can experience deliverance from these things. I use money to bless My children, but without My blessing, money cannot bless, but is spiritually powerless. However, with My blessing, it will multiply as a powerful tool for Kingdom purposes.
 
I hide My righteous ones in the secret place of My Spirit.  From this place, you are fully protected and unaffected by erratic fluctuations in the stock market, economic upheavals, or anything else the world system spews. Place your trust in Me and rest in confident assurance of who I am in your life.
   
Father, thank You for the revelation that money is powerless without Your blessing. All things belong to You including money. Regardless of news reports and broadcasts, my trust is in You and not in mammon.  Though economic systems may shake and crash, I stand steady and secure on the rock of my salvation. Without Your blessing, money cannot provide happiness, healing, comfort, or meet any of my needs, but with Your blessing, Your Kingdom comes and your will is done in my life as it is in heaven!  AMEN!
