Proverbs 10:26
Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes is a lazy person to his employer.
Complete Jewish Bible

Wherever you go, you are My living example and witness. Everyone watches you even when you do not think they are looking. Let everything you do be done unto Me with excellence.

The world looks for opportunity to scorn and revile My people. Give the enemy no room to accuse or cast blame. When your life is surrendered to Me, I provide for your needs, this includes your place of employment. Even if those in authority over you are not believers, I use them to bless you. Never take this provision for granted or take advantage of this provision through slothful behavior. Bless and pray for those I place as the authority over you.

My people do not rob from the hands of your employer or from your clients. You may not think anyone is watching, but I see the thoughts and intents of your heart; nothing goes unnoticed. Laziness not only robs from your boss and clients, but most importantly, it robs from Me.

Every minute I give you to work is My blessing of provision in your hands, especially during this current and upcoming season. Be grateful and full of praise for what you have and refrain from meditating on what you do not have. If you enter into criticism and complaint, this gives the enemy opportunity to enter the scene causing havoc and upset on the job. It can even cause those in authority to view you in a bad light. An irritation to a boss can turn quickly into serious consequences.

Do not allow a wrong attitude to breed contempt and lethargy, but rather, whatever you find to do, do with all of your might unto Me. Take every thought of justification, entitlement, self-righteousness, and pride captive and cast down everything that exalts itself against My Word.

Then you shall be as a tree planted by living waters that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever you do will prosper.  Favor will surround your reputation paving the way before you and sealing up your past behind you with goodness and grace. Promotion and blessing will follow you all the days of your life.

Lord Jesus, Forgive me if I have knowingly or unknowingly robbed from my employer and/or clients. By doing so, I robbed from You. I bless those who are in authority over me at work, school, church, and in my family. I only desire to reflect an attitude of excellence in everything I do. If I have wrong attitudes within me where I charge clients more than I should; take more time on a job to make more money; sneak extra time off at lunch; even lounge around on company time, please forgive me. Even if my boss or clients do not notice, You do.  You see the motives and intentions of my heart. I choose to walk in integrity and honesty; always doing what is at hand to do with faithful diligence. Amen!
