Daily Read “ Exodus 19:16-21:21; Matthew 23:13-39; Psalm 28:1-9; Proverbs 7:1-5

Proverbs 7:1-4
My son, keep my words,
And treasure my commands within you.
Keep my commands and live,
And my law as the apple of your eye.
Bind them on your fingers;
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
 Say to wisdom, "You are my sister,"
And call understanding your nearest kin.

These verses are directives from the very heart of God to assure our safety and success in our present and future. When we diligently seek God in His Word, we find Him in extraordinary ways. The Word of God tells us in Jeremiah 29:13 to search for Him with our entire heart and we will find Him.

The Word is a priceless treasure to the bride of Christ. We must cherish it never forgetting the cost paid for each and every page. Countless believers throughout the world have paid with their lives to possess what we too often take for granted.

As we travel through its beautiful pages, may we each revere the Bible as holy and allow His presence to penetrate deep within the recesses of our heart bringing eternal change.

With no exception, every word within the Bible is the inspired Word of God.  It means what it says and is just as relevant today as it was when first penned centuries ago. It is abominable for man to think it needs to be updated and dressed up to fit into societal change. Our God is omnipresent and omnipotent, He lived in our today before we got here. His Word is alive and pertinent for generations to come right into eternity.

The Lord has presented us with a banqueting table filled with living manna to sustain us through our lives into forever. Each time we open this treasure chest, Holy Spirit imparts rich deposits of revelation. Before reading, declare that wisdom is your sister and call forth understanding as your nearest kin. Ask Him to bring illumination and expect to see truths you have never before seen.

The more you feast on the Word, the hungrier you become. You will find yourself craving more of Him and less of the world.

As you meditate and saturate yourself in His truth, Romans 12:2 comes alive, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

His Word brings renewing
His Word brings everything!
