Matthew 20:29-21:1
Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.
And behold, two blind men sitting by the road,
when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying,
"Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"
 Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet;
but they cried out all the more, saying,
"Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"
So Jesus stood still and called them, and said,
"What do you want Me to do for you?"
They said to Him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened."
So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes.
And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

Many of My children pray without believing I can or will answer. Doubt and unbelief blind their minds from actually grasping the fact that I am God and nothing is impossible.

The two blind men sitting at the roadside cried out in faith for Me to stop and have mercy on them. They not only disregarded the multitude of voices screaming for them to stop, but they pressed through the noise of the crowd and shouted even more! These men didn't even know Me as you do, but they believed I would do something for them.

I asked them a simple question and they responded with their childlike answer -"Lord, that our eyes may be opened." Not only did their physical eyes open to see, but their spiritual eyes received sight and they followed Me.

I hear when you cry out to Me. I move with compassion when I hear your petitions.  I present the same question to you as I did to those men, "What do you want Me to do for you?"

When you ask, do so believing that I am able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or even think! Come to Me with childlike faith knowing I am Your Savior and God; is there anything too difficult for Me? You don't have because you don't ask! Pray for your spiritual eyes to be enlightened to the truth of who I am.

I answer when you call on Me, but My answers may come in surprising packages. Pray that you recognize them when they arrive special delivery. I am sovereign and respond to your prayers in the method and timing I choose.

What do you want Me to do for you?

Take the next few minutes and quiet yourself before the Lord. Ask Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal what you truly want Him to do for you. He knows you better than you know yourself. Allow Him to guide and direct you to that which you deeply desire.  Make a record of this request and write it on the tablets of your heart.  Ask Holy Spirit to show you when He answers. The Lord answers our requests, but the answer sometimes comes in ways we don't expect. Pray for the Lord to give you the grace to receive the answer as He chooses to deliver it.
